Eric's Red II
Yes, Eric's Red is listed as one of my favorite
beers, BUT I really need an Eric's Red that is not a Mr. Beer recipe.
It should still be a deep red amber almost sweet malty beer with low to
moderate hops. I do want a bit more alcohol, and I do believe I'll
go just a bit higher on the hops, but I do believe I want it to be
similar.
Sometime in the spring, I will brew both this recipe and the original
Eric's Red so that I can compare the results.
Obviously, I'll give this one the nod if they are relatively close just
because this one is mine (and quite a bit less expensive.
